Dear Family and Friends,
We are so happy you are here !
Our story is made of many things: a careful balance between organisation and adventure, well-thought-out plans and last-minute ideas that, at the time, seemed perfectly reasonable. It also involves big gatherings with friends, attempts at quieter moments, and stopping to talk to nearly every dog we pass — acknowledging their undeniable cuteness before attempting (with varying success) to carry on with our day.
Over time, a few sentences have become rather standard : “Can we have a lion?” being one of them, or “So on Saturday we have drinks, then a dinner, and then another birthday… but we’ll also have to pop by there” — usually spread across several parts of Paris, for logistical reasons that remain somewhat unclear.
If there is one thing we have (at least tried to become) good at, it is finding ways to bring people together — sometimes quite efficiently, sometimes slightly ambitiously, but always with enthusiasm.
What truly defines us is how much we value the people around us. Family and friends are at the heart of our lives — whether it’s gathering everyone around a table, celebrating properly, or finding (occasionally ambitious) ways to see as many of you as possible over a lifetime.
Which brings us to this weekend.
Having all of you here, in one place, means more to us than we can quite put into words. It is, quite simply, the best part of all of this.
We are very much looking forward to celebrating with you, properly.
With all our love,
Charlotte & Rodolphe ☀️
